Taught by experienced high school students, this 8-week bootcamp introduces middle schoolers to foundational and advanced chemistry concepts — building the knowledge and problem-solving instincts that helps for US National Chemistry Olympiad (USNCO) Local Exam and providing a strong foundation for Science Olympiad chemistry events and the CEF You Be the Chemist Challenge.
Topics include core areas such as Atomic Structure & the Periodic Table, Chemical Bonding & Molecular Structure, Stoichiometry & Chemical Reactions, Acids, Bases & Equilibrium, and an introduction to Organic Chemistry — all grounded in real-world applications and framed around the types of questions that appear on the USNCO Local Exam and Chemistry Olympiad competitions.
